Universities Excluded from COP27
The 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference, or Conference of the Parties of the UNFCC, commonly referred to as COP27, was the 27th United Nations climate change conference. The main purpose of this conference is to agree on policies to limit global temperature rises and adapt to impacts associated with climate change.Even though the scientific community has been hailed for its work in providing evidence and recommendations on the impact of climate change in different communities during this conference since the beginning, the universities, as institutions, are still absent from the COP27 framework and agenda as a whole.The higher education
