Fully Funded Internships for the Year 2023

Internships for college students are very important. While sometimes it helps them get those extra semester credits, or if it is a paid internship, then it will help them take care of their overhead expenses without asking for money from their families.

The internships mentioned ahead will not only pay a great stipend but are also fully funded, which includes your food, travel, and accommodation allowances.

1. RIPS Summer Internships

The Research in Industrial Projects for Students (RIPS) program provides an opportunity for talented undergraduate students to work in teams on real-world research projects proposed by sponsors from industry or the public sector.

Each student team, with support from their academic mentor and industry mentor, will research the problem and present the results, both orally and in writing, at the end of the program. The duration of this program is nine weeks.

The Internship Program provides undergraduate students with a wide range of support and incentives, including:

• A stipend of $4000

• Travel allowance

• Housing and meals on campus

• Site visit with sponsors (subject to confirmation)

• Limited partial support for future travel to select conferences

You must be 18 years of age to participate in this program. Foreign students (studying in the US or abroad) and graduate students are also eligible for this program.

2. CERN OpenLab Summer Student Program

CERN OpenLab is a unique public-private partnership that accelerates the development of cutting-edge computing technologies for the worldwide LHC community and the wider scientific research field.

Over nine weeks, starting from June 2023 to August 2023, CERN Openlab Summer students will work with some of the latest hardware and software technologies and see how advanced IT solutions are used in particle physics. 

This internship program is offered to those who are enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree programs in nuclear research, physics, engineering, computer science, or math.

3. World Bank Summer Internship Program

The World Bank Summer Internship Program allows individuals to bring new perspectives, innovative ideas, and research experience into the Bank’s work while improving their skills in a diverse environment.

Internships are available in both development operations and other business units (such as human resources, communications, accounting, etc.).

The candidates must have an undergraduate degree and must be enrolled in a full-time graduate study program (pursuing a master’s degree or Ph.D., with plans to return to school full-time). There’s no age limit for this internship. The candidate must be fluent in English. The duration of this internship is 4 weeks.

4. Microsoft Online Internship Program

The Microsoft Online Internship Program is a virtual internship designed not only for you to do great work with the opportunity to learn and grow, but also to experience their culture full of diverse community connections, executive engagement, and memorable events.

To be a part of this internship, you need to be enrolled full-time as a student majoring in an applicable field and should be returning to your college or university for at least a term, semester, or quarter following the internship period.

The Microsoft Online Internship Program is a self-paced internship program.
